THE BEAMLINE INCLUDED IN THE PROJECT (OPERATIONAL MID-2014):
- Soft X-ray Spectroscopy (U1)
- Source: undulator
- Photon energy range: 200 eV - 1.5 keV
- Energy resolution DE/E: 10-4
- Experimental techniques: PES (Photoelectron Emission Spectroscopy) including resonance photoemission and spin-resolved PE; XAS (X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy) including XMCD (X-ray Magnetic Dichroism) and RIXS (Resonant Inelastic X-ray Scattering).
- Main fields of application: biomaterials, material science and technology (thin layers, heterostructures, spintronic materials), physics & chemistry of surfaces, catalysis, magnetism and surface magnetism, geology and mineralogy.

- Photon energy range: (I) 1 - 10 eV, (II) 10 - 250 eV
